How to Win Big at the Casino + Harrah’s Casino Review

Let me just say, casinos are not my thing. However, since I was staying at Harrah’s while on my trip to Las Vegas, I couldn’t help but slide in and have a sit down at a few of the machines in Harrah’s Casino. So, today, I’m going to give you a bit about my experieince and teachyou how to win big at the casino!

Since I don’t play slots or gamble much (aside from a scratch-off here or there), I was a little intimidated by how it all worked. So, I walked around for a little while the first night and looked at how others were doing.

Then I decided to give it a whirl because I was having such a terrible evening – which was actually the worst thing I could have done.

Here’s why…

I was already having a bad evening. In short, my Super Shuttle was a few hours late picking me up from the airport. I missed the first half day of my training because of it. Then, when I arrived to check in, they didn’t have everything they needed for me on file – which caused hours of delay to get things sorted.

So, for about three hours, I had nothing but time – all while I was highly upset.

Let’s pause for a second.

If you have been around here on the blog awhile, you would know that I am heavily interested in the law of attraction and read The Secret by Rhonda Byrne and Money and the Law of Attraction by Esther and Jerry Hicks repeatedly like it’s my job. I also live by my Book of Positive Aspects.

So, the worst thing I could have done was go to the casino filled with negative emotion because that’s what I was going to attract more of. Negative outcomes.

And, guess what? That’s exactly what happened.

Sink or Swim

Simply put. I had a beer or two and lost my money on the first night.

I was not surprised.

So, later that night, I decided I could sink or swim. I could sink and let all of the bad emotions and circumstances take over me. Or, I could wake with a fresh attitude, give thanks to the opportunities, and seize the next day.

I chose the latter, of course.

I woke up bright and early, hit for a Lyft,  and made my way to Seven Magic Mountains, fully participated and enjoyed each of my break-out sessions, and then headed back to the casino to get my damn money back.

But, this time, I went with intentions.

I read a few pages from The Secret – because you know I took the book with me. Then, I decided on an amount that I wanted to return to the room with. Since I had only lost $50 the night before, that’s all I really cared about winning back. I simply wanted to replace what I lost, nothing more.

So, I repeated several positive affirmations to myself and stayed focused the entire time. And, guess what? Yep! I did it!

I’m a Winner at Harrah’s Casino!

I came back to the room with not only my $50 but a tad bit more, as well! Heyyy!

So, that’s how you win big at the casino!

Do you want to win more?

Let go of all of the negative emotions. Don’t think about fear or fear what you could lose. Go in with a positive and focused mindset and see for yourself what happens.

Oh, yeah! I did promise a review. So, here’s a few tidbits about Harrah’s in Las Vegas.

Harrah’s Casino Review

Harrah’s is amazingly beautiful! Both, the rooms and the casino are. It is well-kept and clean, however, I do not feel that they have adequate staffing, so things tend to move rather slowly, especially at the front desk.

If you plan to drink, plan on at least $8 per drink. They want their money. But, remember to be kind and tip your server.

There are several places within the casino to take photos if that’s your thing. Since I was solo, I didn’t do any of that on this trip. Although, I would have loved to have taken one by this center aisle display. Talk about money!

Well, there you have it! How to win big at the casino and a quick review of Harrah’s Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada!
