When I first wrote about my Book of Positive Aspects in September of 2017, I didn’t know that it would pick up very much traction and that people would be interested in it.
I wrote about it to briefly share what I had been learning through the teachings of Abraham Hicks and the Law of Attraction. In the initial teachings, it is stated that a person should write consistently for 14 days to begin manifesting their desired reality. But, in those beginning stages I felt that I needed to write for 30 days because I honestly, did not feel writing for 14 days would make any impact on my life.
So, I committed to 30 days.
So, what happened?
A few months later in November, I wrote a follow-up post (Part 2) regarding what had been going on in my life during the time I was writing. I was not a happy camper. I was sad, disgusted, and devastated, to say the least. I just didn’t see anything working or changing.
How could I do all of this work and stay committed and see no results? The book said that it would work.
However, I wanted to be authentic, but also positive in that post, so I ended that particular post on an uplifting note – proclaiming that “sometimes, we just need a little more time”.
Months to Come
During the following months, I wrote occasionally or would re-read what I had previously written, but I had not yet looked around to see the changes that had taken place.
Manifestation Takes Place
When I stopped to look around, I saw that things I had been writing had begun to manifest. For example, I started dating a really handsome and kind gentleman that I adore – which was written in detail in my Book of Positive Aspects.
And, because this was and is so special to me, Modern Map Art created this beautiful, matte-finished, custom Night Sky Star Map of the night of our first date. Each map is one of a kind and uses a specific time and place unique to your unforgettable moment.
At this point, I was a believer in the Book of Positive Aspects from the teachings of Abraham Hicks.
January 2018
By this time, 2018 peeked it’s head on in and I said to myself, “Well let me up my game a bit with this process and see what I can realllly accomplish”.
I decided buy a new notebook and commit to another 30 days of writing in my new Book of Positive Aspects. This time around, I wrote about our family goal of Dimes to Disney in September and my ideal day at Disney. Much of this was on the blog spread out in several posts. But, get this…
Within two weeks, I was literally at Disney accomplishing my Disney Bucket List.
“Hold a thought for just 17 seconds and The Law of Attraction kicks in. Hold a thought for 68 seconds and things move; manifestation has begun.” – Abraham Hicks
But, how did this happen?
I wrote at least one full page per day detailing and describing how I would spend a day at Disney. I was filled with great feelings and the belief that I knew it was on the way.
I wrote about the rides I wanted to ride and the characters I wanted to take photos with. I even wrote about what kind of Minnie Mouse ears I wanted to wear and printed photos from Pinterest boards and taped them inside of my Book of Positive Aspects.
As I focused my thoughts, felt positive, and believed in what I was writing, everything moved together and manifested beautifully.
Yes, it is true.
Here’s how in detail…
Aside from writing, various things (including some inspired action) took place within those two weeks.
For example, I had a left over $90 credit voucher for Spirit Airlines that had been sitting from a previous trip I didn’t take. I had no idea where I was going to go to be able to use the voucher, so it continued to sit.
Then I received an invitation to attend an EZ Dis Disney Media Event at Animal Kingdom Lodge on a Monday evening to simply learn about Disney and the variety of Disney packages that they offer.
Well, I checked into the dates and the voucher and what do you know? A round trip flight to attend that event was $95. Yep! So, I used the voucher and paid $5. (This is taking inspired action.)
Well, then I called up a dear family friend that lives in the area and asked her, how could I go about getting a ticket to Disney for the following Tuesday? She told me that I could use AAA and AARP for a discount, but that she would follow up with me the following day.
The following day she asked me if my ticket was confirmed. I told her, yes. She then said, I got us tickets to Disney! (OMG).
She asked me which park did I want to go to. I told her Animal Kingdom to see Pandora, but that I had so many things I wanted to do at Magic Kingdom. She said something to the fact that she could only do one park, so I gratefully accepted Magic Kingdom. (Gratitude is important.)
Once she arrived to pick me up on that Tuesday, she asked me again, which park did I want to go to? and I explained again. She said, well you really don’t have to choose because I got us tickets to all the parks for the day!
Helloooooo, Law of Attraction!
The rest is history and you can read all of those posts on the blog; from attending the EZ Dis Media Event (linked above), Exploring Pandora, Spending Too Much Time in Africa, and Accomplishing My Magic Kingdom Bucket List!
Heck! I even wrote a few practical Disney tips that I learned along the way!
And, so you see, I believe in the law of attraction and creating a Book of Positive Aspects.
Further Manifestation
This was not the only thing that has manifested since then, there are so many other things (such as my birthday month, increased income, and monthly travel), but I am sure you are tired of reading this post and want to get to creating your own Book of Positive Aspects.
So, if you want to buy the book yourself for a better understanding, you can purchase Money and the Law of Attraction right her from Amazon using my affiliate link or download my new e-book, 3 Methods to Bring The Life You Desire Closer to Reality.
Cheers! I can’t wait to hear about your journey!
