Now that Halloween has officially passed, I think it’s reasonable to shift our thoughts towards the holiday season. I know there are some people out there that already have their Christmas shopping complete, while others are just getting started with planning and ideas.
So, if you are anything like me and just getting started, I’ll be providing several Holiday Gift Guides throughout the coming weeks, beginning with this post on stocking filler ideas.
Novelty Gifts
Everyone loves a novelty gift, so why not indulge in one for your friends or family. Think of joke gifts, gifts with sarcasm, and fun Christmas shirts that they can wear for the special day. Speaking of fun shirts, don’t forget to check out my latest post, 3 Ways to Wear Fun Character Shirts!
Glassware
If novelty gifts aren’t something that you would like to gift in your stockings, consider glassware. With glassware, you have so many choices. Consider holiday mugs, zodiac sign mugs, wine glasses, whiskey glasses, etc. You can even get more personalized and have the glassware engraved with names, dates, or special sayings.

Engraving doesn’t have to stop at glassware. Think of other things that you could have engraved for someone as a gift. Perhaps, jewelry and robes would be fitting for at home, but perhaps, paperweights and stationery would be fitting for the office.

Now that you have some general gifting ideas, let’s get a bit more specific and talk about Christmas stocking fillers for men.
Electronics
What guy do you know that doesn’t like electronics? With all of the technology out there today, I’m sure there is something techy for every guy other there.

Socks
I know the idea of socks can sound boring, but really, you can make this an amazing stocking stuffer. It’s all about the presentation!
Simply forget the boring, all white, pack of socks, unless it’s what he really wants or needs. Instead, consider fun dress socks, novelty socks to wear on Christmas, or socks that resonate with him such as a favorite sports team or his college alma mater that he would be proud to wear.

I know you are thinking…”What? A hamper?” Yes! A hamper. Here’s why.
Hampers are great gift ideas for men because they come in handy for so many things. Think of all the options you have with a simple pop-up hamper. Think about this. It folds up easily but can pop out to be a useful device for clothes, camping trips, car organization, or a catch-all for all the soccer balls after soccer practice, just to name a few.
The possibilities are really endless. But, what’s even better is if you gift it you can also fill it with fun things!

Speaking of fun things. Who doesn’t love a tipple of their favorite alcoholic beverage during the festive season? So another great stocking stuffer gift idea is to perhaps buy a bottle or two of his favorite drink that’s just for him.

Another thoughtful stocking stuffer for her is new stationery. This could be a new planner for the beginning of the year or new office supplies. Just keep in mind her style and taste and you will be good to go!
