Smart Mist Adjustment
Aside from this. Not all humidifiers are created the same. All models vary to some degree with a range of price points. This model in particular has a smart mist adjustment.
This feature maintains a proper level of humidity as set (30% – 85%) based on the room temperature and humidity detected with the humidistat. Again, this is what helps with colds, allergies, and dry skin, especially on dry winter days.
While this model doesn’t allow for the addition of essential oils and medications, it has a sleek design, is easy to set up, and is efficient in humidifying the air in any room.

Unboxing, Warnings, and User’s Manual
Unboxing and setting up the humidifier is very easy. You simply take it out of the box, plug it up, and add the water to the max line in the water chamber. Do not pour water down the top mist chamber. As long as you are mindful of this, the humidifier should be leak-proof with no flooding on the floor or carpet.
If you do not add enough water, you are likely to get an error message (E1). If this happens, check the water tank and be sure that the water is at its max line. You can also refer to the User’s Manual.
Aside from this, I appreciate that the numbers are digital and easy to read. There’s also a small night light on the humidifier which makes this ideal for a baby’s room or child’s room.
Final Thoughts
Given this information and going through the unboxing process, I can honestly say that the TOPPIN Comfy Air H1 Ultrasonic Humidifier (5L) was the best choice for my needs in my office space.
Regardless of your personal choice is brand or model, be sure to monitor the humidity levels in your environment to avoid aggravating indoor allergies. It’s also important to clean your machine often to keep it running safely.
Lastly, if you are in a rental unit, be mindful of your lease. Some leases do not allow for humidifiers to be used, as they can sometimes result in mold.
