Christmas is just weeks away, and if you haven’t sent out your Christmas cards, now is the time because next Monday, December 9th is Christmas Card Day.
I love sending Christmas cards to all my family, friends, and close co-workers. Most years, I strive for personalized photos cards, but that doesn’t always happen. Sometimes, life gets crazy and I simply miss the mark.
When this happens, there is no shame in my game, I simply send thoughtful Christmas cards most likely purchased in bulk like these from SUPHOUSE.
Christmas Cards in Bulk
These beautiful Christmas cards are made of quality cardstock and keep with the traditional Christmas theme of Christmas sayings, such as, “Merry Christmas” and “Happy Holidays” but with adorably cute woodland animals.
I have to be completely honest here. While these ARE adorable, my favorite one simply says, “Ho!”. Perfect for the “not so favorite co-worker”. Haha! I have a terrible sense of humor sometimes. Haha! But, since “tis is not the season” for all of that. I won’t go there.
Now, let me get back on track…
An added bonus is that these Christmas cards are blank on the inside which gives me plenty of room scribble my own greetings inside. Who knows? I may even glue in a few photos.
The History of the Christmas Card
Many years ago in 1843, it is said that the first commercial Christmas card was created by Sir Henry Cole of England. Sir Henry Cole was apparently a civil servant put in charge of sending greetings. What he began as a few scribbled greetings has now turned into a wide tradition of good cheer and thoughtfulness around a lot of the world.
What I love most about sending Christmas cards (and greeting cards in general) is that it is an inexpensive and thoughtful way to let someone know they are thought about.
These bulk Christmas cards come in a box of 36 with six assorted designs. Each card is 5×7 and comes complete with envelopes and beautiful gold seals.

Having a box of 36 allows me to have plenty of Christmas cards to send to all of our friends and family, as well as a few of my co-workers.
Final Thoughts
If you are looking for ways on how to celebrate Christmas Card Day, it’s all very simple. Grab a box of Christmas cards and get to sending them. But, if the traditional way of getting it done is not for you, by all means, send an e-card or make your own.
