Do you host a family dinner or party for Halloween?

Prior to last year, I had not. But, something came over me last year and inspired me to get creative and host a family dinner. So, this year, I have decided to do the same.

Last night with a bottle of wine and company, I finished off much of the bar cart and setting the table. Almost all of the decorations were from Dollar Tree last year. Very few things were new.

However, I do plan to head out tomorrow night and briefly skim a few Halloween sections at a few local stores to see if I can find a few more things.

Halloween Decoration Plans

I would love to add a cute plate, cup, or bowl to the top of the plate and fill it with candy. Right now, there is a haunted house note card on the plates that match the tablecloth. I do not plan to keep the note cards there, but for now – I think they look cute.

I would also like to find some black, orange, or green candle sticks for the center of the dinner table.

Finally, I plan to add a bowl to bottom of the bar cart and fill it with fruit and Halloween candy.

We’ll see how things turn out on Halloween evening.

So, without further adieu, a sneak peek of our Halloween dinner.

**Quick Update

I found black soup bowls at the local Dollar Tree and was able to finish the table! Whoohoo!
