Today in honor of National Florida Day, I want to do a roundup of some of my favorite Florida blog posts which include Disney World, Legoland, and Dinosaur World, as well as our favorite Florida beaches!
What is National Florida Day?
For starters, January 25th is recognized as National Florida Day because it is when the 27th state to join the United States of America. In addition to this, the Sunshine State has an average high temperature of 79.5°F which makes it the perfect vacationing spot!
Check out tips for visiting each of the theme parks below, as well as beaches.
Dinosaur World
Dinosaur World is located in Plant City, Florida. It is an affordable, family-friendly, outdoor theme park which features over 200 life-size dinosaurs throughout the park. Admission is approximately $18.95 per person for the entire day which also includes free parking.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and there are a variety of exhibits with many being interactive. Finally, food is not sold at the park, therefore the park encourages families to bring their own food, relax, and enjoy the day.
