This isn’t my typical blog post. I really just wanted to share a few things on a whim. Today I was going through my emails and received an email from Fannie May embracing National S’mores Day by offering $10 S’mores Snack Kits.
I thought it was super cute, so I wanted to chat briefly about National S’mores Day and National Toasted Marshmallow Day.
I love these two national holidays, as they are a lot of fun. In fact, nothing really says summer time like roasting s’mores on the campfire. Wouldn’t you agree?
What’s a S’more?
Just like other families, we typically get together and grab some graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows, and get to roasting at the campsite because it makes for the best bonding experience.
Since it’s pretty hot out, we have decided to table our camping experiences until next month where we are planning our first camping trip for the year to be at Garden of the Gods at Shawnee National Forest.
I’m so excited and have started searching for some new camping gear.
But, in the meantime, below I’m sharing a bit about National S’mores Day and National Toasted Marshmallow Day. I’m also linking some past fun related posts that you’re sure to love!
National S’mores Day and National Toasted Marshmallow Day
National S’mores Day on August 10th is simply for recognizing the most popular campfire treat, s’mores. Just like August 30th is National Toasted Marshmallow Day. Toasted marshmallows are a special part of summer evenings around a bonfire.
So, it’s another fun day to recognize your favorite summer campfire treats and create some awesome memories.
Final Thoughts
National Days are so much fun to enjoy and to intentionally create new memories. If you haven’t checked out the latest National Days, check them out and find some fun days to celebrate!
