I can’t believe I’m heading into year 10 of blogging! And, even with 10 years of blogging under my belt, it doesn’t keep me from pursuing professional development opportunities in the blogging realm.
In fact, seeking these opportunities is what has made me the blogger/content creator that I am today. With this in mind, I want to share with you one of my favorite Udemy classes that I have taken over the past few years that have helped me tremendously.

What is Udemy?
For starters, Udemy is an online learning and teaching marketplace with over 204,000 courses and 54 million students. You can learn virtually anything that you want almost on the platform. While there are several free courses, not all of them are. Classes range in price and can cost well into hundreds of dollars – depending on what you choose.
While I have taken several courses through Udemy over the past few years, topics covering blogging and content creation have been some of my favorites.
For example, last year, I took a course called Blogging; Travel Writing; Travel Content Writing. Although, it was taken in 2022, it is still relevant in 2023.

What I appreciate about Udemy courses is that it is a quick way to learn something new. It’s a way to brush up on skills that you are lacking or simply need to improve. It’s a way to incorporate freshness into whatever it is that you are wanting to learn.
Furthermore, it can also be a way to quickly add some recent learning to your resume if you are applying for a new position or asking for a raise.
