Pink Halloween Homegoods Haul – I’m Crying

This post is NOT sponsored by Homegoods. Amazon affiliate links may be used.

Over the weekend, I got out solo for a few hours and ran some much-needed errands such as groceries and the post office box. But, I also grabbed me a Caramel Machiatto from Starbucks and headed into Homegoods and TJMaxx to browse their Halloween selections.

I loveeee Halloween!

My first stop after Starbucks was Homegoods. As I browsed all the orange and black Halloween goodies, I found a few gorgeous pink decor pieces tucked in and couldn’t help but to say, Yes, please!

As I carried around the square wooden pink “BOO” sign and the smiling girly ghost, tears started flooding my face.

It was finally a reality.

Our little girl was here and I could actually buy girly things for my own daughter. Not for my nieces, little cousins, or family friends. Not for “one day”, but for right now, because she is here!

At some point, I’ll reach back and recap the delivery and labor process. It was quick but we had a longer stay than we anticipated in the hospital. But, I’ll save all of that for another time. The good news is – she’s here, healthy and happy. And, for that – I am grateful.

100% That Witch

As I continued throughout Homegoods, I also came across a delicious-smelling candle called Pumpkin Latte in a pink Halloween jar. It smells so delicious!

While it’s cute, pink, and matches her lovely items, this one is definitely for me!

I can see it now.

A beautifully lit candle, a fall cup of coffee in a pink mug, and some gratitude journaling.

Yes, please!

In fact, with me ready to start a new chapter of life, I want to work on a new Book of Positive Aspects for the month of October where I begin journaling all of the positive things I want to happen during this new season of life.

Book of Positive Aspects & Baby Halloween Books

If you are unfamiliar with what a Book of Positive Aspects is, it is a concept adopted from Jerry and Esther Hicks based on the teachings of Abraham Hicks. In the initial teachings, it is stated that a person should write consistently for 14 days to begin manifesting their desired reality.

You can read all about it in the book, Money and the Law of Attraction, or you can read a bit about my journey with my own Book of Positive Aspects here on the blog.

After doing some gratitude journaling or writing in my Book of Positive Aspects, I can see myself setting up our little ladybug’s bookshelves.

Update: It happened! 9.28.22

Halloween Themed Bookshelves

I’ve recently ordered some Halloween books that I want to read to her such as Trick or Treat, Bugs You Can Eat, Vamperina Ballerina, You’re My Little Pumpkin Pie, and Baby Shark Halloween Songs

These books are so adorable to look at and to read during “spooky season” and they look so good displayed with these pretty finds from Homegoods.

Final Thoughts

In another post, I’ll be continuing this post and sharing the fun Halloween and fall finds from TJMaxx. In the meantime, I’m going to get to writing in my October 2022 Book of Positive Aspects.
