PSA! Our department has physically returned to work. Who else can relate? Back in March when COVID rushed in and forced the doors shut to so many establishments, our college was included, so we began working remotely from home like many other colleges and universities.
And, we all know what comes along with working remotely; a very casual wardrobe consisting of sweatpants or yoga pants and over-sized t-shirts with a hint of the occasional dress up shirt for weekly Zoom meetings.
Now that we have returned to work, it’s time to get back in the routine of getting dressed more professionally. Some of us are okay with this and can simply go back to picking up where we left off in our wardrobe. Others not so much for reasons such as weight gain.

I was in total amazement and shared with her my strategy for maintaining during COVID which consisted of me doing morning 5K walks either outside or on my treadmill and also registering for a few virtual 5K races to keep me motivated as we continued to self-quarantine.

When we first began with COVID, it was March and the weather was cooler. Now, we are in the midst of August with most days being very hot. So being able to easily shop online and through the Nordstrom Rack app for a few cute work dresses and cardigans makes my heart sing.

If you are unfamiliar with shopping online or using shopping apps, I want to share with you a few pieces of advice.
First, measure yourself. As a matter of fact, measure yourself twice to be accurate so that you know that you are purchasing the right size for your body.
Secondly, be sure to read the return policy. Now, with COVID, some department stores have restrictions when it comes to returns. So, be sure that you are able to return the item, if you need to.
