2020 Year End Review | Quarter 4

2020 Year End Review | Quarter 4

Merry Christmas Eve!

I’m not actually at the computer right now, I’m probably making our Christmas Eve brunch. But, it was important to me to keep my promise and share this final Quarter 4 year end review, so I scheduled it (and another) for this morning.

If you missed 2020 Year End Review | Quarter 3, Quarter 2 and Quarter 1,  go ahead and check those out so that you are caught up and ready to dive into Quarter 4 with me.

I don’t have many resources and tips to share from this quarter but, who knows, you may find something that resonates with you – and, I hope that you do!

So, let’s get on with this final quarter of the year!

October 2020

October was very similar to September. Only this time I was feeling stressed and burned out. I had cranked out 34 blog posts and was literally glued to my camera and computer for the entire month.

My oldest son returned home and I was able to get them away for a day to tour the Indiana Medical History Museum for a homeschool field trip.

Check out my list of Indianapolis Homeschool Field Trips and my Central Illinois Homeschool Field Trips that I shared on News Break.

During October or the beginning of November, I completed my nine week Money Mastery class and had buckled down on my finances. I talked more about working from home on the blog and also gave a one year update on the progress of my Lifebook.

November 2020

November was filled with happiness and calmness on so many levels. I am so grateful. The work momentum was still going in November and I cranked out 32 blog posts, plus started writing for News Break. News Break pays creators real money for writing content!

I worked with so many amazing companies in November on Holiday Gift Guides. I was cranking them out left and right. Most of them were fitness related – as I’m working to release some weight using Noom and exercise.

I also greatly enjoyed working with Shinesty again this year. We had a Beer Date Night in our Shinesty Ninja Bread matching pajamas. It was so fun and adorable.

Lastly, my personal theme for November was to have grace with myself and others. I think this focus is what helped with the calmness and happiness.

December 2020

Well, here we are in the midst of December. The momentum hasn’t died off because as of today, I’m at about 25 posts for the month. I like to publish content twice a day – as often as I can.

My most new and exciting partnership this month has been collaborating with rue21. When I was younger I shopped at rue21 regularly with my friends. It was our thing to collect rue bucks so that we could shop like crazy later.

As I got older, the store near us closed and my oldest son started shopping there, so I stopped. It wasn’t until this past partnership that I returned to the store. After reviewing their clothes, I’m in love, seriously. The clothes were all so comfortable and fit me just right, so I’ll be shopping again at rue21 – only online this time.

Lastly, I want to mention the lovely occasion bins that have been posted for October, November and December. It’s been so nice having the kitchen decorated with these lovely bins.

Final Thoughts

Well, there you have it. A recap of this year up until Christmas Eve. With there being only about a week left in this month, I don’t think there will be many more updates. If so, they’ll just come in the form of a new post on the blog.

Wishing you all a wonderful, happy and safe holiday!
