I’m Using This Bamboo Table Tray for My Lifebook Journey

If you’ve been following me on the blog and my Instagram stories, you may have noticed that I have returned to Mindvalley’s Lifebook program. Lifebook is a transformational lifestyle design system that empowers you to ENVISION, PLAN, and ACHIEVE your very best life.

It’s designed to help you create your ultimate life on your own terms, and nobody else’s. It allows you to discover your vision and bring you into the reality of all 12 categories of life.

My 2019 Lifebook Journey

When I completed the free masterclass back in 2019, I spent a considerable amount of time working on the worksheets that guide you through the 12 categories of life. Believe it or not, some of the categories I hadn’t fully thought through before until I invested this time in myself to learn about each category and plan accordingly.

Although the free masterclass is only about an hour or so long, it’s really up to you on how much time you dedicate towards working through the worksheets and making your own notes. I used several weeks in September to work through mine.

At the time, I don’t recall having a dedicated space to do my work, so I worked on my worksheets wherever I could and whenever I had the free time to do so; on my lunch break, at home, in the bed, at the desk. Wherever.

Emerging Green Bamboo Lap Desk

This time, however, I’m doing things a little bit differently. I’m using this bamboo lap desk by Emerging Green as my Lifebook station. Everything that I need can be sat right here on this eco-friendly table tray.

In fact, it is bigger than most bed desks for laptops and writing. With its 23.6 x 15.3-inch surface, you can perform a multitude of tasks on it, which makes it perfect for my six-week Lifebook program.

This means that everything that I need, including my laptop, a notebook, pen, and even a cup of tea will fit nicely on this tray allowing me to work comfortably and efficiently.

What I appreciate about this bamboo lap desk is that it has a minimalist design, it’s stronger than timber and space-efficient. Although this will be my station as I work through my Lifebook again this year, I can move around to different areas of the house if I need to because of its flat-folding design. I don’t know why I didn’t think of this before.

My 2021 Lifebook Journey

Now that you have a bit of background about my 2019 Lifebook journey, let’s jump into where I’m at now in 2021. With me becoming more self-aware and consistently taking action on the goals laid out in my 2019 Lifebook, it made sense for me to want to do an update, especially since I pride myself on being a life-long learner.

By revisiting Lifebook two years later, I am giving myself that opportunity to check in with myself and my goals, as well as take some time to take the six-week course instead of just the masterclass and create some bigger goals towards my ultimate life.

As I work through this, I want to be transparent and state that it takes a deep level of commitment to work through the Lifebook program, but I am committed to living a well-designed life, therefore it is worth every second that I put into it.

As for where I am in my 2021 journey, I’m just getting started. I recently finished with my 2021 Lifebook Intra-spect Assessment, which is the first assessment that you take prior to getting started.

The Journey Continues

What I loved about taking the assessment this time is that I scored higher than I did the first time in 2019. What that means is that I am (again) more self-aware and am working on my ultimate life. I’m proud of this!

Aside from the Assessment, I have also completed Lesson 1 on Health & Fitness. This week, I’ll be working through Lesson 2 on Intellectual Life. This category basically covers our intellectual well-being; our mind.

While I won’t be writing about every category that I finish, I will be posting updates on my Instagram reels, stories, and highlights, so be sure to follow me on Instagram if you’re interested in the six-week journey.

If you’re not interested in following on Instagram, that’s okay, too.

Below are some past posts that give you a good look into my first experience with Lifebook based on the free Masterclass. This time, however, I’m taking the complete six-week course.

Final Thoughts

If you are interested in designing your ultimate life, I would highly recommend taking the free Mindvalley Lifebook Masterclass. And, while you are at it, don’t forget to create your own Lifebook station using the Emerging Green bamboo table tray.

I’d love to hear how it goes for you!
