Lifebook, Again, Holiday Gifts, and Local Roaming

Happy Monday! I’m so excited to share a new, What I’m Doing Now post. As always, you know how much I love to write these. It gives me the opportunity to check in with you and share what’s been going on behind the scenes and in real life.

So, grab a cup of coffee or tea and let’s jump right into this post.

Returning to Lifebook

For starters, I’m excited to share that since life has changed quite a bit over the past three months, I’ve decided to return to Mindvalley’s Free Lifebook Masterclass. In 2019, I spent a significant amount of time working on my Lifebook and shared the journey in three parts on the blog.

You can read each part here, Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.

Based on the free masterclass, I was able to create my own Lifebook which has guided me since 2019. And, let me tell you this. It has worked wonders to keep me on track and reaching my goals.

For example, in my Lifebook, I described my ideal working conditions and office, my parenting goals, my character, and career in full detail. I am currently living those details each and every day and extremely grateful that I put in the work to create the Lifebook.

But, because I want to continue to grow, now is a time to revisit the masterclass and give my Lifebook an update.

If you are interested in creating your own Lifebook, you can take the free Lifebook Masterclass from this promotional link. I’ll also be sharing my journey in my Instagram stories and reels.

There will be a highlight of the journey on my Instagram page @justbrennonblog. Feel free to follow me for the journey.

Holiday Gifts this Year

Aside from working on my Lifebook, I’ve been sharing holiday gift ideas. For example, today I shared an unboxing of a luxury grooming kit for men called Manscaped. I’ve also shared some Precious Moments figurines that I’ve been eyeing, as well as linking to Walmart’s Gift Guide Finder for Black Friday. Walmart has a lot of options this year, as well.

This year, I would like to be a bit more proactive in terms of shopping a bit earlier than I usually do because if ordering online, we all know shipping can take some time.

Another gift that I am looking forward to is from Frasier Sterling. It’s a custom necklace made of beautiful pearls and charms with A’leigh’s name on it. This would have been her first Christmas and I was really looking forward to such a special time. While she’s not here physically, she’s definitely in our hearts and prayers. The necklace is currently being made and should ship at any moment.

If you’d like to check out the necklaces, visit Frasier Sterling.

Any shopping that you do, you can save 20% by using my code JustBrennonBlog. I’ll share the necklace, of course, once it comes in.

Adventures: Let’s Roam

Lastly, I’m ready to take a fall adventure and do some roaming. Last weekend, my mom and I went to Tily’s Tea Room at Saks Fifth Avenue in Indianapolis. We had a beautiful lunch and a pot of tea.

Since we arrived rather late in the afternoon, we weren’t in time for afternoon tea. Our plan is to choose a Saturday, reserve a time, and head over for a proper afternoon tea.

Aside from that, I really want to head back to the Route 66 Pink Elephant for a quick and fun day trip. I think the boys would love checking out all of the roadside attractions, getting some ice cream, and taking some fun photos.

Speaking of photos and day trips, I was recently introduced to Let’s Roam. Let’s Roam is the #1 Scavenger Hunt Company in the world.

Their mission is to help you explore and connect in your city, so they have created activities in over 400 cities worldwide. You simply download the app and start exploring.

City scavenger hunts like this are not new to us because we attempted an Urban Adventure Quest in Chicago one afternoon. Although it was fun, I quickly realized that it was something that I wanted to do as a couple and not with my small children at the time.

Anywho, you can check out the post that I linked. You’ll see that they were having the time of their life. Haha!

So, we are planning a local scavenger hunt as a couple from Let’s Roam. I can’t wait to share a few tips and some of the fun photos.

Read The Four Agreements

P.S. I’m also finishing up the book, The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. If you haven’t yet read the book, I would highly suggest it. It’s a practical guide to personal freedom.

I’ve been sharing it on my Instagram for the past two weeks. The book is only $5 on Amazon. You’re worth the investment.

Final Thoughts

Well, that’s about it for now. What’s going on in your world?
