Earlier this week, I went to the dentist to get my final two teeth filled. But, before we even got started I was informed that I would need to complete new paperwork due to COVID-19. The new paperwork was a lot more detailed than any of the other paperwork that I have filled out in the past.
For example, the Personal Health History asked a lot of in-depth questions regarding my health including my use of tobacco products. But, what was interesting was how big the section was. I had never seen a section so large dedicated to tobacco use. Out of curiosity, it prompted me to dig a little deeper and learn a little bit more about various tobacco products such as nicotine pouches.
What are nicotine pouches?
But, what are nicotine pouches? Nicotine pouches are typically white pre-portioned pouches that contain nicotine but no tobacco. It is also sometimes referred to as snus. I found this concept rather interesting because although there is no tobacco in the nicotine pouches, they were still categorized as tobacco on the form.
Nevertheless, while doing my research, I found a site dedicated solely to nicotine pouch reviews that gave me a lot of help in understanding what nicotine pouches were, how a person is to use them, as well as the variety of flavors that they come in.
For example, I learned that the user puts a pouch between the upper lip and gum, and leaves it there while the nicotine and taste is being released. That’s a pretty interesting concept, wouldn’t you agree?
Flavor Varieties
From there I learned about the many varieties of flavors. For example, nicotine pouches are sold in an array of fruit flavors such as black cherry and citrus. Other flavors include peppermint and coffee, just to name a few.
And what’s even better than that is that many of the brands that sell these pouches offer consumers the option to buy mixed variety packs. So, if you are not sold on just one particular flavor, you can rotate through many different varieties.
Again, this is pretty interesting because I never knew any of this before.

Had these questions not been on the updated paperwork at the dentist, I probably would have never been prompted to look more into various nicotine and nicotine free products.
