January is coming to an end and the winter weather is still lingering, but that doesn’t mean that you have to stay indoors and be bored out of your mind. In fact, the winter weather hasn’t stopped much for us.

This month we have been blessed to be able to attend the Harlem Globetrotters Game – which has become our annual family tradition for the boys and I. Every year, we are able to attend through a collaboration with US Family Guide. If you’ve never heard of it, check it out. It’s the nation’s largest network of online family guides.

Quality Time with My Children
Aside from attending the Harlem Globetrotters game, I have been spending some quality time with all of my children, both individually and together.
For example, my oldest son, my daughter, and I went out to breakfast, the mall, and Five Below a few weekends ago. We also invited my son’s girlfriend. We all had a great time out, took some fun photos, and made some cool memories.
With my youngest son, we recently spent some time playing UNO on the living room floor with our little bamboo table. That’s one of our favorite family games to play besides Watch Ya Mouth. It never gets boring.

Who doesn’t love a good game night on a cozy day in?
Actually, with our continued love of traveling, I can totally envision us taking this with us on a weekend road trip and then playing it in the room or cabin during our downtime when we have nothing planned.
In fact, on past road trips, I’ve taken UNO and other games for this reason which has helped fill our time and made lasting memories.
