I can’t believe it’s been so long since I have given an update on What I’m Doing Now. So, in today’s post I’m definitely letting you in on what’s been going on in my little corner of the world.
Morning 5K Walks
For starters, I began my weekend with a morning 5K walk. I’ve been quite pleased with myself in the sense that I am becoming more and more consistent with my morning walks.
It’s also been helpful that I received five pairs or fun socks from Chrissy’s socks in a recent partnership, so it’s definitely added some fun to walks and ramped up the excitement.
Anywho, I swore to myself on Saturday during my walk that I would begin to also eat better and healthier, such as having Freedom Jars for breakfast instead of heavy breakfasts such as waffles or stopping by Panera Bread or Starbucks on the way to work. Sadly, it’s Monday and I do not have a grip on this yet. Hopefully, soon though.
Rebranding and Relearning
Aside from my morning 5K walks, I have been spending a lot of time rebranding my professional image for work, as well as doing research on news ways I want to update the blog.
With things always changing digitally, it’s important for me to do a lot of research to see what resonates with me and my brand, both professionally and blog related.
What I can tell you is that I have hired multiple people on Fiverr to complete work for me such as professional logos for my name, as well as an infographic for LinkedIn. Everything is working out perfectly. Slowly, yes. But, it is all working out.
If you are interested in rebranding and relearning, I would recommend Fiverr for work that needs completed and the blog of Toronto seo expert for current seo tips and tricks.
Money Mastery Course
Aside from these things and homeschooling (which I have a whole post coming dedicated to that), I’ve been taking a Money Mastery course with Jana Groscost.
Money Mastery is a 9-week program that helps you reach your financial goals and more. It boosts your financial literacy, shifting your mindset and increasing your confidence about money and success.
We are down to our final two weeks and then we will be graduating. This course has definitely come with its share of work, way more than I envisioned. However, it has encouraged me to think more about my income streams and what I am instilling in my boys.
For example, I recently learned that ACCE International sensory analytics has opportunities for young adults and children to earn money by being testers which is perfect for my teenage son to do to earn some money on his own, especially for the upcoming holidays.
If you are interested, you can sign up to become a tester if you are between the ages of 18-65 (kids can become testers too with parental consent). You do not work for an advertising agency, supermarket, food manufacturer, or a market research company.
Buy Me a Coffee
Lastly, aside from all of this, I’ve started using “Buy Me a Coffee”. It’s basically a virtual tip jar for free content. So, each time I deliver a printable or something similar, you’ll see the coffee cup. If you choose to download, please consider becoming a supporter and buying me a cup of coffee. It would mean so much to me. Thank you in advance.
Final Thoughts
Again, I cannot believe it took me so long to post a recent What I’m Doing Now post. My goal is to not let months pass by again before I post another one.
In the meantime, I’m working on a homeschooling post. It’s packed with information such as the home school curriculum I chose to use for us, as well as some of my thoughts on the assignments, as well as some of the field trips that we have planned.
