***Actual video footage of the show is below.
A few weeks ago, I received an email from an RV company that I am subscribed to. The email explained that the company would be at the Ford 66th Annual Indianapolis Boat, Sport and Travel Show during the middle of month.
I was so excited to see this because I had recently purchased the cutest, blue mini camper to help me manifest the camper for us. It looks so much like the Happier Camper that I wrote about here on the blog, but also what I write about in my Book of Positive Aspects when scripting to manifest.
Scripting or Writing to Manifest
When scripting or writing to manifest, it’s important to have a clear picture of what you want to manifest in your mind. Write out all of the details, exactly how you see it. Include other details such as the environment around you, how you feel, etc.
Also, make sure you feel good while writing and visualizing. This is such an important part of the process. Most importantly, give thanks for what you want, as if it’s already yours.
Lastly, it’s also good to have a 3D item available to see to help you with your visualization and scripting process, just like my brother and I both have. I have a mini camper and he has a mini sailboat.
Anywho, On to Our Day Trip…
So, last Sunday morning my youngest brother and I took off on our day trip to Indianapolis to spend time at the show. Neither of us had been to a recreational show like this, so we were pretty excited.
Location and Ticket Information
The show was held (and is being held) at the Indiana State Fairgrounds until February 23rd (today). Tickets for adults are $15 per person at the door.
Once we entered, we browsed through many of the exhibits, enjoying random samples of cheese, exotic meats, dips, etc. We looked at fishing poles, learned a little bit about fly fishing, and about the history of the Reel Women and Reel Men Fishing Club, amongst other things.
There was a very unique story to how the fishing club began. And, by learning about the club, it opened our eyes up to the possibility of joining various clubs and organizations for recreational activities.
Travel and Tourism
While we enjoyed moving about the fairgrounds, we found our happy place amongst the Travel and Tourism section and the RV section. Don’t get me wrong. We enjoyed seeing the boats, sitting in the pontoon boats, and even checking out the motor sports, but we spent the majority of our time in the RV section and Travel and Tourism.
As we journey throughout the Travel and Tourism section, we were able to sign up for a host of giveaways. I primarily signed up for those that were giving away Yeti coolers. I want one so bad. They are so damn modern and sleek looking!

My brother on the other hand, signed up for things more aligned with his recreational vision of hunting and sailing lessons. Once he has enough of hunting and camping, he wants to eventually sail. He even purchased a mini sailboat to help manifest his vision, just as I did with the camper – which I mentioned above.
Aside from giveaways (sample – below), we spoke to a lot of representatives about camping in different parks and campgrounds. I was also able to speak with a travel consultant on the cruise we plan to take this year, along with a guided tour of Route 66.
I never even thought of a guide tour for the trip until the show. So, who knows, completing Route 66 may come a whole lot sooner than later.
Campers and RV’s
After quite a bit of time there, we eventually found our way to the campers and RVs. My expectations of the RV section was that there would be a variety of campers there including vintage campers.
That was not what this was.
All of the campers were brand spanking new and more modern. Unfortunately nothing there resembled the type of camper I was initially looking for. However, I did come across an Aliner that I fell in love with and truly adore.
It is a pop-up camper which is what I initially wanted. But after hearing stories and seeing it be put, I switched to the Happier Camper style. And, then when I saw the inside of the Aliner and how easy it is to set up, I was sold – kinda.
The “kinda” is because my heart is now torn between the Happier Camper style and the Aliner. Sigh! All the decisions…
Can someone just gift me a camper so that it cuts out the decisiveness? Haha!
Final Thoughts
Anywho, there’s still so much I can chat about regarding our time at the Boat, Sport & Travel Show, but I’ll end here. Perhaps, later in the week or more, I’ll give you more of the details. Or, you can just check out our video below.
In the meantime, I am going to spend some time visualizing the camper that’s perfect for us!
